A 200 hour yoga teacher training cannot make you a yoga teacher.

The truth is that there is no such thing as an “idol worshipper”. It literally doesn’t exist. Nowhere in the world does someone pick up a random object and say out of the blue: “This is God.”

I tried sharing Veterans Today’s link about PressTV’s website being seized by the US government. Facebook wouldn’t let me post it. I wasn’t even putting the link in a post, I was typing a comment in reply to someone, and FB blocked me from posting the comment by saying that it violated their community guidelines.

Who invited you into this space of yoga, non-Hindu non-Dharmic person with chronic pain? Who invited you into this sacred space?

Remember how TV networks put out shows like ‘24’ that brainwashed people into believing that torture was normal and necessary — even justified — despite how torture has been proven again and again to lead to faulty information, vengeful enemies, and even more death and destruction in the creation of extremist groups?

I’ve watched some of your podcast on youtube and I like your interviewing style and your humor. I’m glad that you are bringing on interesting political candidates who are often ignored or hated by the mainstream media.

I don’t follow politicians. I’m on record for regularly stating that no one should trust politicians even if they call themselves progressives. I’ve also been following your career since the middle of last year because I saw the Hinduphobia you were subjected to as a Samoan Hindu woman and how that reflected on the wider Hindu-American community, particularly Hindu youth.

I address this letter to you because I have a strange feeling that you might want to hear what I have to say.

The cops who are resigning right now aren’t resigning because they care about justice. They're resigning in protest of how some of them (a very tiny fraction) are actually being charged with crimes and held accountable for their brutality in very small ways.

Stop celebrating International Day of Yoga. It is a disaster for genuine yogis.
