My Hindu Ancestors forced to fight in Britain’s WWI and WWII
To all my Hindu ancestors and elders forced to fight and die and pay for Britain’s World Wars, I remember you.
To everyone else, the British have never paid my people back. The fact that you're not speaking German or Japanese right now? Yeah, my people did that. We paid for it with our bodies and our lives and our money.
We have been totally erased from the record. Even when they do mention the "Indian soldiers" they almost always mention only Sikhs and Muslims, never including the vast majority who were Hindus.
Meanwhile, my people continue to pay with our bodies and our lives and our money while all these westerners continue to extract out of us and call it "appreciation".
Westerners "appreciating" Hindus is another word for "genocide".
